The Judges will come from all sectors of the venture support community and will include practicing entrepreneurs, business professionals, professors, venture capitalists and other specialists and experts in their field. They will serve as initial screeners and judges.
Preliminary evaluation: Your executive summary will be used for the preliminary judging round. The preliminary judging round is a means to identify teams who will present at TiE-ISB Connect 2008.
Mentoring: You will be requested to submit a full business plan only if you are selected for final presentation at TiE-ISB Connect2008. The shortlisted teams will have mentor workshops to provide them with valuable advice and guidance in developing their business plan.
Presentation Round: The presentation round will take place on Nov 5 2008 at the Indian School of Business, with public presentations by each of the finalists to the judging panel. Plans will be judged as to how well they demonstrate potential for financial returns, fundability, and scalability, the strength of their management teams and integration of the financials with the theme “The Next 800 Million Opportunity”.
